    OK, here it goes, Do every single SZ model has got a 7400go with 128m DEDICATED video???? does 128m TurboCache means 128 dedicated plus 128 shared? thanks a lot

    yes to both questions, although you'll only get the 128 extra memory with turbocache if you have enough system memory

    which has yet to be proven. WE dont know how Sony set up the ram split. Some say its 128+128 turbo cache. Some say its anywhere from 28-64 dedicated and the rest is dynamic.

    startreak how come wouldn't you notice?I mean, if u've got 512 of ram u would see only 480 or so.... am I right?

    And another question, If i you have enough ram (lets say 2 gb) does the extra 128 turbocache improve performance? how much?

    its not 128 dedicatd.
    From what i know, it shares same technonology as previous S series lineups.
    which is 32mb dedicated, and the rest shared.

    From what I understand, one can allocated 128Mb of dedicated memory for the Intel gfx card, but I don't know how to do this. No idea about the nvidea card.

    Its 128 dedicated memory. You can see it in the bios. And everest will also show it as 128.


    Totally diff technology from the S series.

    Adaptor RAM = Dedicated Memory :D

    Also the turbocache can be enabled to gain an extra 128mb taken from your system memory.
