Has anyone else had problems with Skype causing system to hang with W7 after adding SP1? My Skype was working fine before, but now whenever it is launched, the system completely hangs and has to be rebooted. Any ideas what might be going on?

I installed Skype after SP1. No problems on my VPCZ12. Can you do a full uninstall and reinstall of the prog (not the OS)?

I'm using skype 5.0.0.152 and I have random camera stalls (I see my camera working but the other end sees black or freezed video for a couple of secs) from day 1 on my Z. I have standard Sony communication camera driver installed. I'm w/o SP1 atm.

I've noticed that happens when there's a bad internet connection. For a while, my camera light would turn off and the other person would see me freeze, then my light would turn back on, but when the other person started using their ethernet cable, everything worked like a charm (their wireless router was failing). I guess skype would rather you be able to at least talk than have both vid and voice freeze?
