Hi all :hi2: . I bought a refurbished VAIO Flip 13 (Model # SVF13N17PXB) but I've been having issues ever since I bough it (even the first time I booted up the computer without updating anything, using Windows 8.1 that came with the PC) :( I don't know if it's a driver/BIOS problems or if I just have a defective model. So I was wondering if any of you guys have had a similar problem with your Flip 13s (I posted this question on the official sony community forums but nobody has replied so I'm posting it in here as well, just in hope that some more people might shed some light on the matter, just let me know if that's like against the rules of the forums or something and I'll take it out ASAP).

    But anyways, here it goes:
I'm running windows 8.1 with all drivers updated (including Sony's softwares and drivers). Everything works fine until I put the computer to sleep, either by closing the lid or by pressing the power bottom, or by selecting sleep in charms menu. However, when I open the lid, the computer won't turn on by itself, even if I press the power bottom. The only thing that works is closing the lid and opening it again and pressing the power button. After that, the keyboard lights up (including the caps lock light) and the fan starts up but the screen doesn't and the VAIO logo doesn't even appear; it can be stuck like that for hours if I don't shot it down by pressing down the power button for like 5 seconds. Then I have to close the lid again and re open it. Reopening the lid works sometimes and the pc will seccesfully resume from sleep as (saves all my progress and openedd programs/apps, etc.). Sometimes reopening the lid doesn't work and I have to press the power botton and it works.

Now the second problem is that sometimes, at random, when I have this problem of the pc not waking up after opening the lid, when I finaly manage to get it working and sucesfully resume windows, the trackpad won't work at all (there's no touch detected on the E-Lan smart pad control center on the notification area of the task bar). The only sollution for this is to put the pc back to sleep and re-wake it, once again :manfrustrated:

So that's the issue in a nutshell (sorry for the long post - it's really a weired issue that's hard to explain lol). So, do any of you guys have a clue what's going on with my poor Flip 13?. I'd really appreciate any help, I'm a college student using this for school work so it's extremely annoying to have to spend like 5 minutes trying to get the pc started when I'm about to start a class or need to get something done real quick.
