By "sliding finger" do you mean the fingerprint reader? :p ?

If so, yes, it will certainly work. You may need an updated driver.

It's the function from the trackpad where you can control things like Back/Forward in internet explorer, close-minimize-maximize windows all by just sliding your finger. I should all be under the mouse option, under "function" for "Left Corner Assign" in the control panel. Can you check it? It would really help me a lot! THanks

No it doesn't work - kinda annoying really. I've got Vista and SZ4.

Holy Wow! I have an SZ430 that had V.Business pre-installed (recently upgraded to V.Ultimate). I went looking for this feature and found it in "mouse properties"-"function" tab-"sliding finger". I miss using gestures w/ regular mouse and didn't realize it is kind of built in w/ that feature on the trackpad utility. I had it originally launching "easy launcher" , but realized I'm not really using it - THIS will be much more useful to me. Thanks again!

So, to answer your question it may be you just need to find the right Vista driver for your trackpad (assuming it has the same hardware as the newer SZ's)

It works for me. I also had to install the software first.
