So, I've been trying to find the perfect case to carry around my SZ.

Incidentally, I have a leather case for my papers that, being slightly larger than a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper, fits the SZ perfectly.

But, that's for papers, and its not exactly comfortable to carry around :)

You would THINK that since its an inch on each side larger than a sheet of orginary paper, it would be easy to find a large variety of cases that fit it snug and tight, right ?

    Well, I found this:

Which SEEMS perfect, but it turns out that it just isn't enough to fit the SZs 12.5" length.

Has anyone found anything similar ? Any ideas or suggestions ?

I don't want to have to put it into a slip case to fit into a larger, heavier bag... I bought the SZ in part for its weight and small size, I don't want to kill that with a big bag...

Quite a few options. The Lodis Racing Collection Medium Messenger fits my 13.3" widescreen Sharp perfectly - has a laptop slot.

However, it's not the most expandable bag in the world. If you need more space, I recently got another bag which is slightly bigger than the Lodis, and does not have a dedicated laptop compartment, but you can get a sleeve for your 13.3" widescreen. The bag is the Hugo Boss style 62006 messenger (go to http://www.hugoboss.com, look under BOSS Black Menswear, select bags, and hit Next, and it should be the messenger bag on the righthand side in the middle.

The Cole Haan N/S messenger ( http://www.colehaan.com/colehaan/ca...Id=89285&categoryId=300276&productGroup=89286) also fits the Sharp, but I ultimately didn't get this one.

Another one that will work size wise (tried it with my Sharp) is the Coach Mapbag. There is a leather one which you can find at some stores, but is a fast seller. It's the right size for 13.3" notebooks, but you'll need a sleeve.

I preferred both the Lodis and the Hugo Boss beacuse the main pocket zips; the others are messenger bags which can possibly leave a gap at the side, so if you just throw your stuff in and get bad weather, it's not good.

Another bag you may want to look at is the STM Medium Loft

I have no experience with this one.

    There's also this: http://www.booqbags.com/Detail.bok?no=441

I plan on reviewing the SZ90, so I will show pics of the bags.

Thanks for the links, FenderP !

Great stuff, I can see that you've been looking too !

Unfortunately, some websites call Messenger Bags "Sling Bags", but what I'm looking for really resembles what was on the website I posted above.

EBags.com has about a million of these... but I don't know much about them, and I wanted to know if someone else on the forum had tried something of this style !
