I just decided to try SonicStage Remastering Stadio for a bit, and actually am very impressed with it. Personally, I don't like adding effects and stuffs to audio, so I doubt that I will use it much - but for those who likes that kind of things, this software is very powerful, if having rather clumsy interface. It is not just an equalizer, and you can also give very detailed settings to all its (numerous) features. If my memory serves correct, plugin that can do this kind of things for Winamp or WMP usually cost money to buy, and you can apply SSR's effects for any software you use.

So, if you have Sound-Reality capable Vaios - FE, FZ, AR, and Santa Rosa Sz are, I believe - it really worths a try IMO, before you do your semi-clean install. ;)
