I was browsing a bit and I just see topics about TZ and SZ and such, but the FZ looks like a really good laptop. It has just the right amount of performance and the right price for most people. I'm looking for something in the 1500-1800 price range, that will be my main computer. I was looking at HP for a while, which looks like a greally good value but I don't trust the reliability/quality. The FZ uses the new Centrino Pro, and has the new dx10 geforce 8400. It's also a midsize laptop (not an ultra portable, not a desktop replacement), which is just right for me. Sony screens are also supposed to be really good, right?

I've used friends' Vaios before in the past and was very impressed by them, so what's everyone's opinion on this new one? I don't know if it has been out long enough for people to have much experience with it (I think it's brand new), but I'm curious anyways since I'll be buying a new laptop very soon.

it's listed on the sony website, and it lets you configure it with the 8400 so I figured it was available, I could be wrong though.
