    Software missing on eSupport for downgrading TZ290EAB to Windows XP

    I am trying to follow this - http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=183695&highlight=downgrade - guide to downgrading my TZ290EAB to Windows XP. My problem is that on the Sony eSupport website, only the hardware drivers [first 16 downloads] are on the eSupport section for my model. NONE of the Sony Apps like Sony Shared Library or the AV stuff is on there. I see that the original poster of that guide has linked to his model of TZ but I'm not sure if those downloads will work well on my TZ290EAB. What do I do? Any advice?

    the TZ series are all essentially the same notebook with a few different configuration options, like ssd vs hdd, 1.06, 1.2 & 1.33ghz processors. i would bet almost certainly the downloads for other TZ models will work with yours.

    all the models in the TZ series are the same notebook with a few different configuration options, like ssd vs hdd, 1.06, 1.2 & 1.33ghz processors, and color of case.

    i would bet almost certainly the downloads for other TZ models will work with yours.
