    Hey guys,

I had read before uninstalling the video driver would fix the problem - just today i actually went and id it and it does solve the java problem 100%. i can load any java apps, web pages in SPEED mode without any black screens or nonsense

which is great news. Anyone that had this same issue please try it it should work

Uninstalling the video driver? Doesn't that mean you lose all 3D functionality...?

sorry maybe i should have made itcleare i was just a little too excited haha

when it uninstalls it requires u shutdown and restart
as soon as it restarts it detects "new" hardware and installsthe original drivers. so it is back exactly the same why...why this fixesthe problem i have no idea but did for me and the original person who mentioned it.

Alternatively, you can just turn down the hardware video acceleration 1 notch and off you go.
