Some Help Needed !!

I'm living in EGYPT (North Africa) and i will buy (FZ4000 CTO OR AR770 CTO) from USA then ship it to Egypt.i have some questions for you guys :
1-What about the warranty.I've asked here in SONY-Egypt they said they don't support notebooks can i choose an International warranty(i don't know how ) and fix it in any near country (like Saudi Arabia)
2-Is there a noticeable difference in performance between

4-What about the different colors of the keyboard(especially Polished Mosaic)and do you have pictures for it?
5-for guys who got the Extended Battery (BPL8) is thier any thing u don't like about it?

 

I don't know about any "world-wide-support"-warranty.
Companys like Sony (most of all Sony but also some others) do many efforts in keeping markets separated. For example Canon does not offer any service anyome once a product has left Japan (if you say that or they can proof it...) and many American companies do the same.

AFAIK you can send something to SONY America without paying tax when you already have a SRN (service request number) and neither have to pay tax when getting back your computer later.

Egypt is not in North Africa and the other way around!

 

I do not intend to spend the rest of my life on this subject ( I am old and time is running out ).
But thanks for confirming what I said.
Egypt is located in the north-east part of Africa.
Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia are the 3 countries forming North Africa.

Zukiki, you are actually mixing two things : North Africa and Maghreb...
North Africa is actually the North of the African continent, wich includes all of the countries wich have a border with the Mediterranean see including Egypt, and Maghreb is what you described...
Anyway, thats not the topic...

 

I don't think an extra .1GHZ is worth an additional $300.00. You're probably going to be carrying the laptop around, if so go with the FZ. The AR's 17' screen won't be pleasant on your back.

 

Totally agree with that, I dont know why they are asking so much for so few...
