I own a Sony Vaio VGN-FJ57GP (yes, very old), and I have hyped it up with 2 externals, 1 eBoostr pendrive (2GB), and 2GB RAM.
Now, my problem is that: I got hit by a virus (TrojanLoader.Agent) and it corrupted my ISBMgr.exe, SPMgr.exe (or SBMGR.exe, forgot) and some files from C:\WINDOWS\IME\..
So, how can I find replacement files? I use the battery sometimes - and I need the Sony Battery Manager..
If someone can upload these files for me, that'll be nice.
My sincere thanks in advance.

Can anyone assist me on this, please?
Also, I have restored the Power Manager (SPMgr.exe) but for some reason it isn't appearing in my taskbar..

try here:
ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/
don't know how far back it goes, but worth a try -
Oh, well found it. Thanks a lot!

Also - I need Apoint.exe, my touchpad manager.. Can you find it for me please?

why would you want that battery manager? I noticed it offers othing extra. I actually have it disabled from the startup programs and have never complained!

No, the SPMgr is what I need. Read about the ISBMgr - but it really doesn't affect me because I'm genuine all around
Anyway, I thought it was something important at first - but now I've found the driver install for SPMgr, and Apoint - so everything's back to normal. I'm lucky I had malware removal training though - it helps a lot.
