Posted this in the official thread, but haven't got any help:

Can anyone recommend a cooling solution / pad / whatever that works with the FWs? I plan on overclocking and want to be a bit more on the safe side. And does any one know if you can output to a higher resolution using HDMI? I mean, the screen is 1600x900, but could I output 1080p to something capable of it?

Take a look at THIS thread.

The FW is able to output higher resolutions using HDMI (and also VGA for that matter). 1080p wouldn't be a problem.

I've had good luck with this one - basic cooler, but use during the summer months (no A/C in the room). Helps lower temps and actually matches up pretty well with the cooling vent on the bottom. I'm sure there are much better ones out there, this was just a basic cooler for my simple needs. Take a look at the extensive thread David referred you to - lots more options than the one listed below.
Can't tell you how will work with overclocking tho...Sorry

New question! So this thing is supposed to have the XMB, right? I can't find anywhere... what do I do? I know there's the AV Mode button, but I mean full XMB.
