    Someone please guide me throu the SZ series

    Alright, after yesterdays trip to the local computer store I have decided to give Sony SZ a shot. But I'm soooo confused about these different models i can find.

    SZ-340, SZ-360, SZ-370 and SZ-390...

    Correct me if im wrong but the 340 series is with the "old" chassi, meaning no carbon fiber while the other ones are with the new "lighter" premium carbon fiber.. or something... (Btw, im not looking at the 381 which is too expensive for me)...

    Then again, at sonystyle.com i can only configure the 390 and 340, leaving 360 and 370 as non-configureable/already configured packages.

    But other then that, it seems like i can configure one 390 to be the same as a 370 or 360... the only difference is the price... or hmmmm...

    Well, not exactly. You can customize 390 as 370 (3.72 lbs) I guess, though they say it will be heavier (4.07 lbs.) but not as 360. WAN is preconfigured and can not be removed from 390 specifications. 360 is without WAN.

    I am wondering the same thing - on the SonyStyle US site, there appears to be no difference between the SZ360 and SZ370 - except for price.

    The 370 has the Edge network (do you see the external antenna) and the 360 does not.
