    Id like to know what those SZ owners have on their desktop wallpaper. Im still searching for a good one that isn't too messy looking. If you can, post the hires version so other people can download it.

    Picked it up from Club VAIO website...
    I have nothing on my desktop... not even the Recycle Bin (I use a registry hack whereby you can choose through Explorer->Tools-> Folder Options->View whether to have it on desktop or not)...
    So its all dark with VAIO background...looks really chic...on the 'Royale' theme for XP...

    This really looks absolutely brillaint on my SZ, though I only have the recycle bin icon on the bottom right corner of the screen above the time. It looks nicer with less icons but whatever suits you.

    I modified the bottom of the standard VAIO wallpaper in Photoshop.

    I didn't like that turquoise color, I guess I'm just really picky... :D

    How can you stand wallpapers that arent made for the exact same screen size as your resolution. I hate the whole stretch, tile or smaller then the actual resolution thing.

    Why photoshop it...I just go to google and search for wallpapers specific to my resolution.

    Yes it is a very nice car compared to the others in its class.

    I really dont mind the stretch on the screen, to me it really doesnt look that bad. But I might be wrong.

    Hey, do brighter wallpapers = more power consumption? Or does that only depend on brightness settings? (Edit: Yes I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I'm curious)

    It doesnt, but a bigger resolution does slightly slow down your computer as it has to process more information.

    You have a point about the clarity - I only take pictures here on Sunday, because there is almost NO smog...

    As far as the snow goes, no, I wish it was snow! It was just clouds, but I do LOVE the way that picture turned out for an amateur like me!
