    just read on the pcpro uk website that sony will launch 'Vaio by You' website for uk and im guessing EU buyers, so theycan customise their own vaios.

    cant post the link as i havent made 15 posts yet :mad:

    ..just kidding, my bad for using minus sign.

    What I meant was: SSD plus HD minus DVD

    In Japan and the US, it is possible to have a 2.5" HD in place of the DVD (or Blu-ray) drive. However it's only available CTO.

    Aha... now I see what you mean. :) Yes, maybe it'll be an option. I know that a couple of users on here have successfully ordered the spare parts for the SSD+HDD model TZ to convert their SSD+DVD model TZ into the former. You need various brackets, cables and blanking plates, from what I recall. Not for the faint of heart, though (or for those who value their warranty much). ;)

    I read that customization will be available only in the UK, France and Spain... does anybody know if it's going to expand to other countries as well? :confused:
