I have just got my CTO Z540 from sonystyle.com for 1 week (after $250 ecoupon, 10% student discound, and free shipping).

if there is a much bigger price dropping on CTO z540 during the period of Thanksgiving Day, can I ask sony for money or credit back?

    who ever had such experience?

    thanks

I ordered my Z540EBB on 10/15 and two weeks later Sony dropped the base price by $150. I called in for a price match and they handled my request with no problem -- I did have to supply additional information as I have EPP and a one-time use coupon (not expired, but used, so I have to explain that if I purchase it now I still can use the coupon), but it went through and my card was credited within 5 business day.

For your case, you need to be careful with the $250 coupon as that one expires on 11/27, Thanksgiving Day. If you request price match after 11/27, you can't apply the $250 discount anymore.

If they have a new $250 coupon during that period, then can it replace the old $250 discount?

Yes, that shouldn't be a problem. So, if the unit had an additional price drop of $100, for example, it would be applicable. Essentially, all Sony is worried about is what is known as "double dipping" in the retail world. They don't want to sell a product to a consumer who is getting a heavier discount by applying double coupons or something to that affect. This is why you can't enter the same coupon multiple times. Same principle.
