Anyone know if the memory is GDDR3? I can't find any information on the net to confirm this.

If you're talking bout the AR41S, it's GDDR2 according to the Belgian shop I asked info from :)

It should be DDR II, there was a list of notebooks using GDDR3 and it was pretty much just the G1s and the MBP. Nothing to be heard about the AR.

I have the AR590E. If you spoon feed me the instructions step by step of how to determine this I'd be glad to answer your question. I'm a newb to Vista and never even owned XP :)eek: ) so you have to go slow.

It uses DDR3, at least the models of AR here do (and hey, even FZ do use DDR3). :)

I actually called sony tech support and they are pretty much useless. They couldn't tell me. I ended up buying an HP8510W which I like a lot. How to determine the speed of your memory is a great question. I had a tool that could tell me but I can't remember what the name of it is. Anyone know the name or of one that mzil can use?
