Ok my 1.5 year old FS550 seems that the battery is dead. Tried everything I could think of and searched sony's FAQ. My batter life went from normal to about 30 minutes and then completely nothing. Wont boot with battery installed and if I put it in after lappy is running, battery light flashes.

Will a duracell or other battery work in my sony or is it going to give me that "Its not a sony battery" message? Whats a good place to get a battery?

The power connection into the laptop is cracked (laptop side, not power brick side) I took the lappy apart and id'ed the piece. Where is a good place to get it? Part number on the piece is 073-0001-1040.

Anyone have an opinion on a new battery and a place to buy other parts?
