I've had my Sony Laptop (PCG-K115B) for about a year now, it was around 2 months when i bought it but still in pristene condition. Only problem is the battery meter, when the battery reaches 100% it doesnt change the status to "Charged", it just carries on saying "Current Power Source: AC Power, Current Battery Status: 100% (charging)"

When i unplug the laptop i usually get around 1:30 to 2:00 hours use before it runs out of battery power.

I had a HP laptop previous to this, which my dad now uses, and that never had the same problem, it got to 100% then switched to AC power until it was unplugged.

Is there any reason it should carry on saying charging no matter how long i leave it to charge??

Is there any way to stop it from saying this/changing to what it should say??

Is there a fault with my laptop/battery??

    Please help me!!
