Anyone one know where I can pick up 64mb memory for the Sony C1VN beside Ebay. $80 for 64MB of ram is expensive. My friend give me his old C1VN. If anyone know any good website for C1VN can you post a link? I heard some people have done mofication on this laptop but I am not sure it is on the hardware side or software.

    Thx

I used to own that model (about three years ago). Cool little laptop. Regarding the memory... I know that $80 is expensive for 64mb ram but what I found when I owned the Picturebook is that EVERYTHING was expensive because it was Sony and a niche product. Sorry I can't give you any suggestions where to look (other than checking www.shopper.com) but I think you might just have to either deal with the memory you have or pony up to the amount that it costs (which is a little high) for more memory. If you think memory is expensive for the picturebook, just check out the batteries (although they may have come down now due to it being discontinued model and a lot of people now selling them). Good luck
