    Gidday guys.

    Anyone have any guides for removing an SZ58 (or similar) CPU. Just trying a little open-heart surgey for a "Penryn project"

    I remember seeing a thread where someone did upgrade to Penryn. It was just a plug and play deal, no BIOS update needed. I think you can only upgrade a 600 series SZ, the 500 has a different socket.

    The SZ 58 has the GM 965 Express with socket P/478. What does the 600 series have, I thought it was the same?
