I just got my Sony Vaio CR about last week. Been using it and its great. Thing I have been noticing though is that I charge my battery to 100% and then when I use it again later it shows something like 92%?

I charge it fully, I don't do "Stand By" I actually do a "Shut Down", when its off I unplugged the charger and I went to bed. I woke up and turn it on and it has lost 8% when its off...is there a solution to this? Or is this normal?

There are several recent threads about this. It seems common with Sony notebooks, unfortunately. You can remove the battery if you're worried about losing charge, of course.
