    Sony CS Series-Screen brightness on W7/64bit problem

    Guys,

    I own a Sony Vaio Cs (VGN-CS16G/W) and I have just upgraded to Windows 7 Professinal 64bit, everything looks good so far except that i am having problem in changing the screen brightness. Which i am able to do if i were using my vista32bit on my dual OS.


    Normally, windows mobility center tool should look like this:

    But mine looks like this, which is missing the screen brightness tile:

    And my power settings is also missing the screen brightness slider:

    And this is my device manager settings showing that my driver details of my nvidia display adapter, which is using the recent version of the forceware:

    I've used the the driver windows update, from the sony website, official nvidia website and currently, the recent forceware... but still it doesn't fix the problem. I've googled around and no solutions have worked for me.

    I hope someone could guide me with this awe full and eye hurting problem.
