I have a Sony CW series (specs in sig) with the Geforce 310M and was wondering if anyone had done a breakdown with the machine to see if that or even pre-revision models with the 210M and C2Ds had an MXM slot for the low end graphics. Yes, I know laptop graphics upgrades are a lost cause, but I really would like to know if there is an MXM slot in the lower end CWs. It's obvious machines with Geforce 230 and 330Ms will be using MXM. I've done quite a bit of searching online MXM info or breakdowns of the machines to no avail. I'd open mine up, but it's a little risky at only 2 months old.

Nope. None of the CW's use MXM. That applies to all models regardless of the nVidia designation. 210m/310m/230m/330m They are all soldered and integrated onto the MoBo.

Actually I don't know many Sony notebooks, at all, that use MXM.

EDIT* And surprisingly, the CW is quite possibly the easiest to take apart notebook.... Ever.
