    Yes, but the kind of requirements you are describing begs the question as to why you're even looking at ultraportables to begin with. Your requirements are power and portability, but no optical drive? Really now, any notebook manufacturer will build you a machine that weighs <6 lbs., have any power you need for the job you need it for, and still remain portable. Yeah, the less-than-3-pounders are wonderful to have, but you've got to be realistic with your requrements. And in that there's no point in not having an optical drive.
