    Sony E Series Dull Display

    I tried changing the LCD for Sony E series laptop. After changing all i see is dull display. The laptop is able to boot up but the problem is that the screen is very dim. When i put back the old LCD i still get the dull display.
    Plz provide me with a possible solution asap.

    It looks like you have no backlite

    When you changed the lcd , did you have all power removed
    (Battery removed + ac adapter disconected )

    Yes I Had Removed Everything.....
    Before Changing The Backlight Was Illuminating But Now Its Not....

    It could be several things
    If there is no backlite ,
    It could be the inverter has failed
    It could be a onboard fuse on the motherboard
    It could be a bad conection on the inverter cable
