I'm not sure if many people have the EH series yet, I think it just came out.

I picked up the VPCEH13FDB from sonystyle.ca. Originally, I purchased from Best Buy the VPCEB33FD. Then I noticed that for $30 more, I could have the EH model from sonystyle, which had a lot of extras compared to the EB model I had:

    6gb ram compared to 4gb
    640gb hd compared to 500gb
2nd gen core i3 processor compared to 1st gen core i3

Overall, I'm happy with the EH. The fan is quieter than the EB, and there is no processor hi pitch noise that exists on the EB. It seems to score higher on the Windows performance index in almost every category as well.

Now that I have it in my hot little hands, I do notice one thing the EH is lacking over the EB: an e-sata port. Instead, it just sports 4 USB 2.0 ports. Is this not a bit of a downer in terms of hooking up an external hd to the laptop in future?

Not really, most laptops do NOT have an esata :) But yes its much better and having a USB 3.0 port would have made up for it but unfortunately no luck there.

Actually that's the other thing the EH is missing compared to the EB, an expresscard slot. So I guess I'm stuck with USB 2.0 for the next long while.

The other smaller thing I noticed was this EH machine is missing the battery care feature found in the VAIO control panel. I can't 50% or 80% charge the battery, it's 100% only. The feature is entirely absent. I'm not sure if I can install it or not, or if that really does help save the battery in the long run anyhow.
