    Sony Extended Battery Sticks Out?

    Why is it that the sony extended batteries come out from the bottom of the laptop(the z-axis) instead of out the back(y-axis), I kinda feel the Lenovo approach towards extended battery makes a lot more sense...

    The extend out is less in z-assis, the third row of battery just in between the firs two rows. You will feel more comfortable when typing if your keyboard tilt more.

    I prefer it. It also raises the laptop a little and gets better airflow. A bit more even weight distribution, too.

    I think the Z battery makes more sense, raises the keyboard, doesnt stick out the back, which looked really weird on my old tablet and still fits in my case. the Z never gets hot with or without EB
