Should I opt. for the fresh start option or get the bloatware and figure out how to do a fresh install later??

Being that you have to get Windows 7 PRO in order to get the fresh start option.... is PRO worth it?

Do they really remove all the bloatware??

How easy/difficult is it to do a fresh install for a noob like me??

    Thanks for any info.

Windows 7 Pro offers 3 features that Home Premium does not: the ability to join a domain (corporate network), network backup, and Windows XP mode. If you needed any of these features, you'd probably know it already.

If you don't opt for Fresh Start, you can do a clean install from the recovery disks by interrupting the recovery process mid-way through. A few of us had to work through some minor snags, but it's not hard to do. Fresh Start is certainly more hassle-free.

You may also want to look at what software comes bundled and see if any of it is worth having to you. Something like Roxio or Picture Motion Browser may be bloatware to me but useful to others.
