Hey guys... I wanted to know if the "CD/DVD burner" listed under the Sony F series configuration, from the sony website, was a Dual Layer DVD burner or just a regular dvd burner??

also how are the sony F series with the i7 820qm processors?? any problems with throttling or heat??

Most new DVD writers are dual layer. You might want to look at a thread dedicated for Vaio F series in the owners lounge.
