I plan to buy Sony FE with the following configuration.
Can you guys tell me the cons if any for this model.
Also did anybody buy this model with the Go 7600, I have seen reviews with the Go 7400 on NBR ?
Is Go 7600 256 MB dedicated or 128 MB Dedicated ? Sony gives no info about this on their website..

    128 MB. < My bad.
It's a very nice notebook. Sony makes very nice machines.
    It's just heavy, IMO.

Its probably the lightest 15.4" notebook out there right now.

Yes, the Go7600 is 128MB dedicated and 128MB turbocache.
The FE is not the lightest 15.4 by a long ways. The MBP is 5.6lbs, the HP nc8430 is 5.9 or 6.0 and the FE is 6.2 or 6.3. these are just the ones i can name off the top of my head, so there are significantly lighter ones out there. Its not that bad for a 15.4 though, under average certainly.

i just bought my fe690 with nvidia 7600, its 128 mb dedicated...might not be the lightest but it is still light for the screen size and definitly the best looking one out there...im happy except for the volume, its low.

no turbo cache (which i think is just marketing BS). the card works great and ive heard only good things about it. i played pro evolution soccer e at maximum settings and it ran perfectly. No fingerprint and no IR (but it does have bluetooth).
    good luck!

I've played Oblivion with mine at native resolution and it did ok, I had to turn all of the settings down though. I might try at lower resolution and see what happens. I managed to score 3302 in 3Dmark05 with it which was surprising, I was expecting lower.

if i am not mistaken, it is 128MB dedicated, 128 turbo-ed...

256MB versions are for thicker laptops.. i think FE's are not that thick to accomodate such card. maybe due to heat issues that may happen
