    hey guys,

I am currently studying abroad in spain, and my almost 3 year old dell inspiron 5150 stopped working. I want to buy a new computer and i was looking at the sony FE and SZ models.

2 questions: 1 what is the cheapest and fastest way to get one????

and 2, which is a better product????

It appears that performance and battery life are similar (maybe SZ has better battery life)

but as far as general features, build quality, and the sacrifice of screen size for portability from the FE to SZ, which of these 2 offers a better package as an overall product?

I want to stay in the $2500 realm, be able to play semi intensive games: WoW etc.. be able to comfortably watch media, and also be able to carry the computer around. Im really looking for an above average in everything laptop, and both seem to be compelling options. Any advice or experience anyone has would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I had the same question, I ended up going for the FE. Simply because it has a bigger screen and I get more for less(for example free upgrade to 1gb ram from 512). But the SZ is more lite and portable. It all depends on what you want, nice white looking one, a lighter more compact one, or longer battery life, etc. But I guess your decision will be based on looks and price since you can get the same on both notebooks (cpu, ram, etc)
