Has anyone encountered this problem with their FE?

This happens when I click shut down, and then nothing seems to happen.

I therefore had to shut down by pressing the power button.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I just thought I might post here before calling Sony.

    Cheers

Not sure it's fair to blame norton alone for this- i had the same problem even though practically the first thing i did was to uninstall norton! Also installed two prgs- pc booster and smart close (freeware)- between them they solved the problem

If you disable norton, then what do you use for anti-virus?

By the way, you still need the recovery disk? I'll try and get some dvds from my bro and burn one for you when I have time.
