    Couldn't make up my mind. Hope can get help here.

    Need the notebook to last me at least 2 years. Sony is good but tempted by ASUS 2 years global warranty.

    The ASUS V1Jp is definitely better than the Sony FE with its docking station, security features, X1700 gfx, carbon fiber build, awesome screen, etc. the ASUS V1JP is suitable if you're a business user, otherwise the ASUS G1 is the better choice for gaming and multimedia.

    I dont need any docking station. Just used it for my work. How come the V1Jp vent is on the right side where the mouse will be place as well (I'm right-handed)?
