    Hello,

Does anyone know what the case for the Sony FS is made of? Is it magnesium? Also, where is the notebook made?

    thanks

No idea what the case construction is, I've read somewhere it's magnesium but I can't confirm that since Sony doesn't say in their literature. The back of the display is definitely some kind of metal, because the antenna's for the Wireless Card are plastic inserts.

I doubt it's magnesium because one would think they would stress that in their marketing materials.

My FS is made in China and the build quality is excellent.

It's supposed to be magnesium everywhere except for the black parts of the notebook, i.e. the screen bezel (on the inside) and the bottom of the notebook.
