Can anyone explain to me why the wifi on my Sony Fw491 keeps cutting out?, i swopped a macbook for this and never had problems with wifi until now. It connects and then dies after a while and then it can't connect anymore.

Update the drivers and see if your router has a firmware update as a place to start. You didn't give much information, other than it doesn't work, which makes it hard to help.

what brand router?, also is it your laptop is losing the signal or your router having firmware problems (I had a dlink I had to get rid of cause it was for wifi would just drop internet connection till you reset it and you had to reset it daily) if its vista dropping the signal then (you can try a program like vista anti-lag which stops vista from roaming looking for another signal than the one your currently connected to)
