Sup guys, is the guide for the SZ similar for the FE? I work enough where i honestly don't have time to do a wipe and then figure out what works and what doesn't hah. i'm sure other owners can agree with that, reinstalls are time consuming. Anyways i want to make and image but i don't want to mess things up because i have it working pretty good now. Appreciate any comments. Lovin this machine, runs almost completely silent!

Use a microfiber cloth, and windex. It works like a dream

    Jballa,

I have done a clean install on an FE11M. I followed the guide by ronan.achilles and it worked great except for the webcamera issues and the memory stick icon issue. I haven't found any "European solution" for those those issues, but am working on them as we speak.

    I'll keep y'all posted.

    ProphetX,

I know you were joking on "clean install", but I caution about using the words "Windex" and "notebook computer" in the same post. Windex has too many soaps, surfactants, and ammonia compounds to be used anywhere near a notebook screen - unless the vendor specifially states that the screen will not be damaged.

Forget what I said about the memory stick icon issue. The American dll file works fine, so that problem is solved as well.

Only thing left is the webcam issue. I'll probably have to give Microsoft a call for that. I will keep you all posted on that.
