MY only concern with this laptop is the battery life. My friend has the FZ and he cannot get 2 hours out of it. I will be taking this laptop to college and it would have to be able to get through 3 hours of classes atleast. Which one of these has the best battery life with and without the high capacity version.

I get nearly 3 hours out of mine doing simple tasks.

I'm sure with a high capacity battery you'll have no problem getting at least 3 hours. I believe Sony lists it at 6.

Probably on the regular battery, like me.

If your friend can't get two hours out of his, he either needs to adjust his power settings or has a defective battery.
