Does anyone know when the Sony Financing will once again offer 0% for 24 months on notebooks? I purchased a Vaio SR back in august on 0% for 24 months. Such a sweet deal. The current offering is 12 months at 0%. I want a Z but I'm tempted to wait till the 31st when the current financing offers expire. Does anyone know?

That 24 month no interest promotion is good from 4/1/2010 until 5/31/2010 if you use your Sony Financial Services card and spending $399.99 or more. I just got the email. Happy shopping!

On notebooks? .....I see this for TV, and recievers.

It's not advertised on the Sony Style website because it is not yet April 1st. I received the email last night and if you don't have a Sony Financial Services card, then you probably didn't get that email. And note it says nothing about any specific product purchase.

ehosey.....thx for the info I may just return my unit and apply for this promo wonder if they will still hit me with 15% restock fee. This promo is just to good to not take advantage of.

Didn't Sony run no interest for 36 months at one point? I maybe mistaken.
-
I have not seen any recent 36 month no interest promo for " any purchase. " It was for TV's and home theater gear. The last good promo is the one I'm currently using and that is the 12 months no payment, no interest plan for VAIO notebooks that was in Nov. and Dec. 2009.
-
Well it looks as though there is no 24 month promo. The promotions in the financial services section look the same as the last promotions.

Post 4 is what the email I was sent outlines about the promotion. -
It says 12 months on my screen :-( -
@Marukai
I do see what you are saying. If you add a new notebook to the cart, it does indeed say 12 Months No Interest. If you add a notebook from the clearance section to your cart, it says 24 Months No Interest. But, that conflicts with the email I received from Sony Financial Services back on March 26, 2010 detailing the " Spring into Savings - Sale Going On " promotion. There is no mention about any specific type of product.
" Go to Sonystyle.com or authorized dealer near you or call (877) 865-7669 for details.
On Purchases over $399 with your Sony Financial Services card between 4/1/2010 through 5/31/2010. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional balance, including optional charges, is not paid in full within 24 months or if you make a late payment. Minimum Monthly Payments Required.* "
The above is what it states. I don't know what else to say about it but this is what the email indicates to me. But with that, it would be pretty lame if new notebooks did not qualify for this promotion. -
Well I just called Sony and the sales person said the the 24 months is on TV and A/V products. I guess I'll be waiting until June 1st when the new promos come out :cry:
