The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Sony Japan - where to buy?

    In 2005 when I lived in Japan I bought an English OS Vaio. There was an English website where they targetted foreigners living in Japan. I can't find it anymore.

    As some of the new VAIOs are very cheap in Japan (from US$1000) and I'll be passing through next week I thought I'd buy one.

    Does anyone have any idea if they still make these English OS Vaios for sale in Japan?
