I have an "oldish" GRT795MP laptop running XP Service pack 3 for many years and last week, suddenly, in the middle of a session, the wireless link to the router disappeared. I know the router, Netgear, is working because my other computer connects OK. And the strange thing is that the Sony can see other networks in the building, but not mine! That is not quite right - it does occasionally "see" my network, but does not connect. If I try "manual connect" it disappears again.

Has anyone come across this problem, or have any suggestions on how I should resolve it?
