Have any of you all used your laptops with the Sony Location Free hardware? I'd love to hear your comments. It sounds like you can stream TV or DVR materiel to your laptop or Smartphone while you are on the road. That would be interesting. Any comments.

It is supposed to be very similar. I was hoping someone had used it and could state any differences between the two or the usefulness of the Sony option. Does anybody use this product?

I used to have it. I didn't want to pay for the cable tv in my apartment for college so I was thinking if it was possible to get the cable tv from my house. So I gave this thing a try. When I first heard it I was like WTF this is not real. At home it was tight because my laptop doesn't have a tv tuner and there was practically no lag and the picture quality was pretty good. But as soon as I went to my apartment, it was laggy and quality was horrible! And I have high broadband too.
