This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I don't know if this has been posted yet but for those that recently bought a notebook starting on June 26, 2009, you can now pre-order for the Windows7 upgrade kit (Windows7 operating system + utilities/drivers). Up until a few days ago, it would just ask for your e-mail so that they can notify you when it's time to register. I just filled out my order right now and the only thing left to do is send in my proof of purchase.
