    Unfortunately, it's still half a grand more to get 8 GB less if you go with the SSD option. :(

    Well..the samsung hybrid drives look interesting. Part flash drive part regular disk drive up yo 160gb. Already shipping to retailers (As oem installs) and can be direct replacements with regular 2.5 sized harddrives.

    What would be great is if they made a PCMCIA flash drive big enough to just house the OS. Then the sata drive would be pure storage.
