My notebook will not boot to windows xp. It seems to start as windows then it starts to reboot all over again. I have the recovery disk, but it is not recognized when I restart. Is there anything I can do?

Hmm, have you chosen CD-ROM drive as first boot device?

If you haven't done anything, when you are at POST, click "Esc" It will go to Boot menu. Then choose ATAPI CD-ROM Drive.

After the disc is read, you have to press any key to get into the restoration process. It should be all set within an hour.
