I have owned a Sony vaio PCG-FX905P for the last 6 years and recently I have been experiencing problems in operating my vaio.

Iv been told that the Hard drive has been corrupted and will need to be replaced.

I want to find out whether or not I can upgrade the hard drive from the standard 30GB (IDE)? If so, is there specific type I can only upgrade to?

    Regards
