    Hello all.

    I want to know part# of hard drive For my SOny pcg-tr2c . I need a new hard drive , any that is compatible with. Thanks

    It is a PATA (IDE) 1.8 inch hard drive... very small, very thin, with an interface of lots of pins rather than the flat connectors that SATA drives have. Be aware that the TRs came with two different types of drive, the Toshiba where the connector is on the narrow end, and another make where the connector was along the longer edge. Check which connector your machine came with before getting a new drive, unless it comes with the connector of course.

    If you are looking to upgrade, I'd suggest getting an SSD: Kingspec make a range of SSDs that fit it - just search online for them.
