    I am entering college this year and, like everyone else, have to purchase a computer. I am really interested in the Sony VAIO computers...I know that they cost a little more than others, but it seems worth it to me.

    I was wondering what specific series ppl would rec. or series that I should avoid getting.

    My price range caps at about $1500 for the notebook.
    I dont really care about screen size (I'm getting a docking station/monitor), nor do I game...

    ANY recomendations are wanted!!!!!!!!

    What about lcd size?

    Fill out the FAQ so we can help you better and post it in the What Notebook should i buy and mention you only want a Sony even though i would recommend a business class machine.

    I've already posted in the "What Notebook should I buy" and ppl havent really been talking about Sony's so I thought that I would try here.

    I'm thinking about either the FZ or CR series.....any suggestions?

    FZ and CR both way around 5.5lbs. FZ has 15.4 inch screen with Nvidia Go 8400GS as an option, while CR has 14 inch screen and only X3100 intergrated graphics.
