Hi, I just brought a sony VPCSC from bestbuy.

I install one game in the laptop and run it while checking fully loaded gpu and cpu temperature.

the current temperature is idle/ normal web browsing

The max temperature is what I achieve while running forsaken world.
    Using speed mode:
cpu goes up to 90-93C while GPU went up to 86C
fan like jet engine, alot louder than my G51J at max

My asus G51J never went pass 75C cpu temperature while gaming.

forsaken world using intergated hd 3000 @stamina mode:

    cpu temperature ~80C
    fan noise noticeable.

Are those temperature safe? 90-93C cpu and 86C gpu temperature?

    watching blu ray movie:

cpu ~70C using stamina mode with hd 3000

fan noise no audible, not noticeable.

Everything looks fine to me, this is a 13" notebook, temps will be higher than your 15" asus.
