Help needed: I recently upgrade my Sony S15 Win7 with 128Gb Samsung 830 SSD and replace the optic drive with the original 7200 RPM HDD with caddy. The problem I have is that randomly the system will freeze/hang after SSD upgrade, the HDD light is always on and the screen will freeze with no response to keyboard/mouse. The only way to recover is hard reset. Since this happens mostly during gaming, I checked the GPU temp (I am using 900/900 mod) which is around 68c max during gaming. There is no sign of overheating with both GPU and CPU. I also tried to stress the GPU by Furmark and noticed sometimes the system freezes over GPU 77c degree but I think that is caused by thermal shutdown.

It is quite random, sometimes it won`t hang for days but sometimes even freeze during light task, like watching a video.

The way I did SSD upgrade: Installing the OS by the recovery flash drive generated by VAIO care. Then re-installed all softwares. All drivers are sony default and I am sure the SSD driver is up to date checked by Samsung magician.

Flash bios back to normal and check. It could be hardware alter issue.
